Hello, Hello!
A while it has been! Here is the first painting from "The Curiously Creeping Coast". I've got two more completed, just waiting to be scanned & photographed; they will be up soon =)
Octavia, 9"x12" acrylic on wood panel
She gathered seaweed in the early morning sun,
Heading back home, her work was done;
As she turned away,
She heard a curious voice say,
"Well hello little girl, would you like to play?"
Tapping her shoulder (and sure life was now over!)
What an ominous, but gentle old fella'
Creeping in, he gave her an umbrella;
"Why thank you!" she said, as he nodded his head
No longer overwhelmed with a feeling of dread;
Splashing around at the edge of the tide,
"Hop on" he said, I'll give you a ride;
A dreamer of dreams, but are they as fun?
They travelled the waves 'til the setting sun.
