Bramley Blackfriar, 9" x 12" acrylic on wood panel

Over the hill,
on Thornbury Bend,
Lived the jackalope Blackfriar
and his lovely lady friend.

A cobbler by day,
'til the wee hours of night,
Crafting the finest of shoes
with all of his might.

The most humble of gents,
with the finest of taste;
Ever on the run,
without a minute to waste!

Always well groomed,
where ever he goes -
Not a hair out of place
betwixt his manicured toes.

With his favourite suit on,
reservations at eight -
Tea and cakes with Edwina,
he musn't be late!

to be continued (with Miss Edwina, of course!)...

Happy Tuesday!
